About this tour

Join a small-group tour (maximum 14 guests) led by a naturalist guide through stunning landscapes rich in wildlife. This Alaska shore excursion offers breathtaking views of a turquoise lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains, a salmon-filled river, and significant cultural sites. Depending on the season, you may spot bald eagles, harbor seals, and brown bears.

Your guide will take you to the best scenic and wildlife-viewing spots, providing binoculars and a spotting scope for a closer look. In May, June, and July, wildflowers bloom, and bald eagles nest along the river. From August onward, pink salmon begin their upstream journey, attracting brown bears along the riverbanks.
