Stop 1: Reigando Cave – Musashi’s Solitude Retreat
Your first stop is the mysterious Reigando Cave, nestled at the base of Mt. Kinpo. This site is famous as the final dwelling of Miyamoto Musashi, the legendary swordsman and author of The Book of Five Rings. Stroll a peaceful path lined with 500 Rakan statues—each unique in facial expression—before reaching the cave where Musashi meditated in solitude.
