Welcome to Global Shore Excursions. Please take the time to read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a tour or using our services. These terms govern your relationship with us and clarify what you can expect as a customer. By booking a tour through our website or authorized representatives, you agree to abide by the following terms.

I. Booking & Payment Policy

We aim to make the booking process smooth and transparent. To secure your tour, a deposit or full payment is required depending on how far in advance you are booking.

1. Booking Confirmation

Once we receive your booking request, you will be sent a confirmation email that outlines your tour details, along with an invoice and payment instructions. A booking is considered confirmed only after a deposit or full payment has been received.

2. Deposit & Final Payment

For most excursions, we require a 30% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days before the scheduled tour date. For last-minute bookings (less than 15 days in advance), full payment is required upfront.

3. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard)

  • PayPal

  • Bank transfer (subject to fees)

All payments must be made in USD unless agreed otherwise. Transaction fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer.

4. Children Policy

This policy applies to children based on the year of birth indicated in their passport:

  • Under 3 years old: Free of charge
  • From 4 to 7 years old: 50% of the adult price
  • From 8 to 11 years onld: 75% of the adult price
  • 12 years old and above: Charged as an adult

II. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy aims to be fair for both parties while covering the costs we incur during preparations.

1. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

You may cancel your booking by contacting us in writing via email. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation:

  • More than 40 days before the tour: 10% of the deposit paid is non-refundable. This will be saved for your next trip with us. The rest of the deposit paid will be refunđe (bank fee levied by your end)
  • Between 40 – 30 days: 35% charge of deposit paid
  • Between 29 – 15 days: 50% charge of deposit paid
  • Between 14 – 10 days: 75% charge of total booking value
  • Less than 10 days: 100% of holiday cost
  • No-shows on the tour day are considered cancellations without notice and are non-refundable.

2. Cancellations by Global Shore Excursions

In the rare case that we need to cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control (such as severe weather, port closures, or minimum participant requirements not being met), a full refund will be offered. We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur due to our cancellation, such as independent travel arrangements.

III. Shore Excursion Timing and Responsibilities

Our tours are designed specifically for cruise ship passengers, with timing carefully planned around port arrival and departure schedules.

1. On-Time Return Guarantee

We guarantee that you will return to your ship on time. Our experienced guides and local logistics team work closely with port authorities to ensure that all excursions finish with ample time before boarding.

2. Delays and Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, port authority decisions, strikes, or any force majeure events. While every effort will be made to complete the tour as planned, safety and practicality may require adjustments in real time.

IV. Traveler Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that all travelers cooperate with basic policies regarding behavior, health, and documentation.

1. Personal Documentation and Health

It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary travel documents are in order, including visas and passports. You must inform us at the time of booking of any health issues, physical limitations, or special dietary requirements.

2. Behavior and Respect

We expect all guests to behave respectfully toward our staff, local communities, and fellow travelers. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.

V. Insurance and Liability

Your safety and peace of mind are important to us, but we strongly recommend that you travel with appropriate insurance coverage.

1. Travel Insurance

We encourage all customers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Trip cancellations

  • Personal belongings

  • Delayed or missed cruise departures

2. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

At Global Shore Excursions, we are committed to providing accurate and helpful information to enhance your travel experience. However, by using our services or booking a tour through our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  • Global Shore Excursions provides travel information and tour booking services based on content collected from trusted local operators, transportation companies, and accommodation partners. However, we are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the information provided by third parties.

  • Global Shore Excursions shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, injury, damage, or loss resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

    • Natural disasters, severe weather, fire, or equipment failure.
    • War, terrorism, strikes, civil unrest, or political instability.
    • Health-related restrictions, quarantines, or government actions
  • Guests are responsible for complying with passport, visa, customs, and health regulations.

  • Global Shore Excursions is not liable for any consequences arising from a traveler’s failure to meet legal entry or exit requirements.

  • We are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage of personal belongings due to the traveler’s negligence.

  • Some tours include activities that may involve physical movement or inherent risk (e.g., boarding boats, walking on uneven ground, climbing steps). Global Shore Excursions is not liable for injuries or accidents occurring after reasonable care has been taken.

  • Global Shore Excursions reserves the right to update or revise these terms and conditions at any time, with or without prior notice.

VI. Use of Images and Media

We occasionally take photos or videos during tours for marketing purposes. We respect your privacy and allow you to opt out if you prefer not to be featured.

1. Consent to Photography and Filming

By joining any of our shore excursions, you acknowledge and agree that you may be photographed or filmed during the course of the tour. Your participation in the tour constitutes your consent for Global Shore Excursions to use any photographs, video footage, or likeness of you for promotional and commercial purposes.

If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform us in writing before the tour begins. Our team will do everything possible to respect your wishes and ensure your privacy.

2. Use of Media Content

The images and videos collected during tours may be used in various promotional materials, including but not limited to:

  • Our official website and blog
  • Social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Printed brochures, advertisements, or presentations

These materials are used solely to promote Global Shore Excursions and are never sold to third-party marketers. We aim to use images respectfully and avoid content that may be deemed intrusive, inappropriate, or misleading.

VII. Data Privacy

We are committed to safeguarding your personal information and ensuring that any data you share with us is used responsibly, securely, and transparently.

  • Your full name, nationality, and date of birth

  • Passport information (when required by port authorities)
  • Special travel needs or preferences (e.g., dietary restrictions, mobility assistance)

  • Organizing and managing your tour
  • Communicating with you regarding your booking and itinerary
  • Ensuring compliance with local legal and safety regulations

2. Email Communication and Opt-Out

With your consent, we may occasionally send you emails containing updates about new tours, travel tips, or exclusive offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link provided in our emails or by contacting us directly. We will honor your request promptly and will retain only the data necessary for legal or administrative purposes.
